Must return.: Home Office Furniture

I really wanted this chair. Pros: Max lift height is perfect for my own height (5ft 11in) and desk. The range is suitable for smaller people and tables. I had to lift it all the way up to get into an ergonomically correct position with neither knees at 90 degrees nor feet touching the floor. The maximum weight of the chair is 300 pounds. My husband and I are both this weight and the chair seems to support the maximum 3D armrest and also has a good maximum height to keep the arms parallel to the table which is most comfortable when working. The width and length of the seat is good as it's wide enough to still have leg room without feeling cramped. seat depth adjustment. However, "816", the deepest allowed, did not fit between the seat and plate, so it could not be used. This was the one I wanted to use but had to settle for "819". Because of this, there was too much space between the hollow of the knee and the front of the seat cushion. The wheels say "works on all surfaces" and "no need for a chair assist, but that's not true". First, 2 wheels got stuck while driving. The seller solved this problem by sending a new set of wheels that did not have this problem. Second, and more importantly, it will NOT work on carpet. You must use a floor mat as the caster wheels are a type of rubber that cannot move freely on textured surfaces. This works great on hardwood and I also find it doesn't scratch the wood due to the material the rollers use. The main reason we come back is that the seat is uncomfortable to sit/work for long periods of time. Like most people lately, I work from home and after sitting in this chair for two hours my lower back hurts. When in doubt, I agreed to the chair and tried it out for several weeks. I ended up having to go back to the old chair because of such severe pain. The mesh he uses is breathable but very rigid and does not deform. It may work for some but not for me. Neutral: The headrest is neither a plus nor a minus for me. I haven't really used it and I didn't notice it. I'll come back and look for a new chair again.
