Review on Kryptonite New York LS Heavy 🔒 Duty U Lock for Bicycles - Bike Lock by Trevor Bannister

My cheaper kryptonite lock broke so I decided to get a stronger one. In general, the quality and assembly are good. It's definitely durable (to scale: 70.3 oz, 4.4 lb) and good looking. Problems: 1) At first I thought they sent the wrong one. The dimensions of this lock are listed in the product description as 10.25" x 4". These are internal dimensions, not overall dimensions. I understood when he came. I measured it at 13 x 7 inches overall, so it's longer. The description didn't give any clue as to the differences at second glance (it says so in the note above, but I looked at the full description). LS/MC stands for Long/Motorcycle? I don't think it mentions what they mean. This is something I overlooked because it was half the price of other New York locks. But it makes sense that it would be for scooters and motorcycles. 2) Installing the frame: As it is longer you will have trouble installing it into the frame using the Kryptonite frame mount (not included). Please note that the frame mount sold separately should only work with round tubes unless they have changed the design. 3) There were no keys in my kit. The packaging was a bit torn, maybe they fell out. I would get a replacement but the size is too big for the bike. Note dimensions when purchasing. Otherwise the lock is of good quality but too big for a bike. If you don't want to go through the hassle of getting a regular sized U-lock for your frame and wheel then this will definitely make your life easier. Hope that helps.
