My wife fell down the stairs in October and broke her leg in 4 different places. She couldn't wear it about a month ago due to swelling, but after she returned to her work duties and found her ass getting as sore as her leg from sitting, she remembered I bought it for her. . It wasn't until she put it on and stood on her still healing leg all day that she realized her leg was aching, maybe half as bad as before, and the swelling had gone down a lot. She put it down to a possible accident - BEFORE the next day she forgot to put it on and the pain returned. Suffice it to say that she wholeheartedly recommends it. :)
