I got these for my son to wear with boots in the winter.they give a lot of extra warmth and are thick enough where if your kid's foot is in between sizes and he's wearing a boot that is half size bigger this sock will provide extra warmth and cushioning. Not to mention that his feet do not sweat in these socks. I got one pair at first but then went back and bought two more pairs after.
