Review on Altama Aboottabad Runner Tactical Combat: Performance-Driven Footwear for Tactical Operations by Bryan Reynolds

After years of using my bootistan boots I finally ran out of spare pairs and had to find a suitable replacement. Finding boots that work in different conditions, with the right weight, with long-term functionality and the right fit took months of trial and error. I finally found Altama "Aboottabad" and I'm glad I did. I've worn them to work and play, in wet and dry conditions, in rugged mountain terrain, in swampy forests and in urban environments. The best points I've noticed so far are: The fit is right and stays properly wet or dry without being too tight or bulky or with inward cues, no noticeable hotspots or particular wear points (other than those expected) . by my own foot shape and gait); They maintain traction on wet or dry asphalt without the outsole wearing out quickly (other high rubber soles I've tried are great for wet terrain but wear out quickly on rocks, gravel and sand as a compromise with high wet grip ); and finally a great construction that will stand up to wear and tear no matter how many times it has to dry, the stitching won't unravel and there's no sign of glue (inside or outside) peeling. Overall 5/5 stars, would highly recommend and would buy again.
