It took us a weekend to get them. The first day is measured and planned (there is always a plan) and the next day is installed. The light came on easily after we drilled holes in our thick cast. Just be careful not to chip the plaster. Wiring was simple, pretty much plugging the lamps into each other (in the attic) and adding a wall switch. They are on the dimmer. I used white caulk around each bracket so the edge isn't visible. I want the fairing around the lights to be at least 8 inches larger to hide imperfections from drill holes. But the sealer fixed it. I don't know how long they'll last since we just installed them, but LEDs are usually pretty reliable these days. I love her looks!
