So I was chasing top kickback on my 2001 8.1 2500 4x4 2001 Suburban. Added a K&N cold air intake and new spark plugs up to 0.65 spacing and off we went. There was CEL flashing and bad splash, pops, code was cylinder 8. Replaced the spark plug wires and that fixed 95% of the problem and the CEL. Only lasted about a week, and then it got worse, never throwing any other code or CEL. Decided that next time I would switch coil packs. I ordered this set from Revain for $99. The kit came today, I changed everything. problem completely fixed. Just for your information. Revain said the set is not suitable for 8.1, but I have tracked GM's UF192 series and done a picture comparison and they are correct. Nice set, let's see how long it lasts.
