I'm not very smart and managed to put this in about 3 hours to install. You will need to purchase a $10 1/2" granite drill bit from Home Depot and 4 wall anchors with screws. The screws that came with this installation kit weren't big enough for my needs. Also check the outlet under the sink. . At the switch is my socket, which is connected to the garbage chute. This means that both plugs are on this switch. You need an outlet with a constant power supply because a UV filter needs to be connected. best tasting water, take this reverse osmosis system. It remineralizes the water. I think it tastes like bottled Fijian water and Fiji is one of my favorites. I live in Southern California and my fridge water (filtered) still tastes good. To me, this water has absolutely no metallic taste. When I was looking for a reverse osmosis system, all I was interested in was the best tasting water, no matter the price. I'm pretty sure I found it with this system. It's expensive compared to other reverse osmosis systems, but I think it was worth it. $$.UPDATE 9/20/2015: I've had this system for 10 months now. The faucet that came with the system started dripping so much I had to call the company. They said the warranty is 5 years and sent a repair kit. As I said, I'm not skilled. I find that very impractical. I tried anyway. I ended up breaking the handle and tearing the skin on my finger trying to put the handle back on. I recommend getting a better quality faucet to begin with rather than the cheap one that comes with it. I learned you need a NO AIR GAP TAP. I ordered one here at Revain for $37. UPDATE 7/12/2015: I just ordered and replaced replacement filters (annually). On one of the filters I ended up not securing the socket very well. When I pressurized the system again, water ran out. I unplugged the system again and pushed it a little farther and now it's not leaking anymore. This whole process took about 20 minutes. The ends come off fairly easily. Just make sure you put down a towel before removing the filters otherwise the whole floor will be covered in water.
