remote control itself works fine. I had no problem pairing or controlling my two cameras. The problem appeared when I charged the remote for the second time. When I unplugged the USB cable, I felt the USB connector loosen from what was holding it. I didn't pull the cable at an angle or too hard, just grabbed the end of the connector and pulled hard enough to pull the cable out of the port. After that, at first I was only able to charge the remote if I held the cable at a crazy angle. Now it doesn't load at all. I would have had no problem giving this remote five stars if it wasn't for the weak USB port. Now I have to spend another $80 on the Gopro brand because I don't trust this remote enough to risk another $50 to try a different one. I think this issue could be solved if the manufacturer just added extra CA or something to hold the USB connector in place.
