Great, handy remote control!

The perfect little remote control for Hero 8 and older. I liked that it charges with a regular micro USB instead of a weird cable that everyone else uses, I can charge it without having to carry extra cables with me. I can imagine the waterproofing being less reliable on this device than others. Because the inlet/outlet is covered with a thin plastic cover, which to be honest doesn't hold up very well. The convenience of the micro USB cable wins for me.

The USB connector is hardly held and can be easily damaged.

remote control itself works fine. I had no problem pairing or controlling my two cameras. The problem appeared when I charged the remote for the second time. When I unplugged the USB cable, I felt the USB connector loosen from what was holding it. I didn't pull the cable at an angle or too hard, just grabbed the end of the connector and pulled hard enough to pull the cable out of the port. Compact, easy to sync/use, shows important information at a glance and is much cheaper than a GoPro remote.

RESULT: A totally justified purchase that will make our GoPro Hero5 more useful and practical.
