RESULT: A totally justified purchase that will make our GoPro Hero5 more useful and practical. There are many other wireless remote controls out there, but the convenience of using the built-in LCD display to monitor camera functions was the deciding factor here. 5 STARSTHOUGHTS: This device only took a few seconds to sync right out of the box. (I'm pretty tech ignorant so I watched a little YouTube video and it wasn't difficult.) This Suptig remote works exactly as advertised. There are several remote controls, but many are only for turning the camera on and off. Being able to see at a glance how much battery life and GoPro time you have left is what made me buy this device. Suptig does exactly the same thing as a GoPro remote. at a significantly lower price. It was easy. The hand strap made it easy to put on and use and is not overly bulky. I use my GoPro very rarely, on summer hikes etc, so I'm not a GoPro fanatic. Therefore, I cannot say whether this device will withstand sustained heavy use. But for the occasional weekend user like me, I would highly recommend this nifty little remote from Suptig to anyone considering buying a remote for their GoPro.
