I'll give you the data I've collected to verify if the thing works or not. Below is the data I collected over 2.5 months. I used the Konnwei kw208 battery tester and the Schumacher SC-1200A-CA automatic battery charger. Definition you need to know: Health = Life remaining based on a 100% new battery. Capacity status = charging capacity at which a new battery is 100% fully charged. CCA = Cold Crank Amplifier. My battery was installed by Walmart (12V, 700 CCA) back in 2014 (today = 2021) and I drive to the grocery store maybe once a week and take a little leisure trip at Burger King. The original reading of my battery was SOH 67, SOC 28, 475CCA, 12.17V. So as you can see my battery is aging but still works without any issues. The question was if this desulfurizer would be able to revive my old battery. I desulphated for 2 days and fully charged with the charger listed above. I repeat this process 10 times over 2.5 months. DATA = SOH, SOC, CCA and Voltage: (67,28,475,12,17=initial), then (84,30,594,12,18), then (78,55,550,12,33), (84,60,586,12). ,36), then (84,66,594),12,4), then (82,73,578,12,44), then (78,75,551,12,44), then (81,76,573,12,46). then (79,45,554,12,27). Thus, the SOH increased from 67 to 81%. The SOH increased from 28 by an average of 60%. CCA increased from 475 to 573 on average. Tension increased from 12.17 to 12.36. So my conclusion is 1. You can't rejuvenate your dead battery with a new battery or an old one.2. This little desulfator increases SOH, SOC CCA and voltage, but not to the level of a new battery.3. I've been playing around with this for 2.5 months and I have a question. Is it worth? Well you answer.4. This little man is most efficient when connected to the battery all the time and driving daily: desulfate at night and charge while driving. Note. If you leave it on the battery without charging it will eventually drain the battery.5. If you want to permanently install this on the battery you will need to cut/replace the alligator clip on the eyelet.6. I will have Ryobi 48V (12V x 4) lawnmower batteries and permanently install them and leave them on the charger 24/7 after each use for 24/7 desulphation and charging/recharging. The best way to salvage a acid battery is to AVOID SO4 crystals to begin with, rather than attempting to use this device when sulfate crystals have formed in the battery. Analogy: Watch your diet and take cholesterol medication to prevent coronary artery formation instead of trying to lower your cholesterol after a heart attack. By this point, cholesterol has already built up in your coronary arteries, and no medication can rejuvenate your coronary arteries. Be healthy, happy and spread compassion.
