This pen is a good size for our guinea pig. She loves to run around (and poop) in it! She jumps in with popcorn so I think that makes her happy! Keep an eye on your pet when it's inside because if our guinea pig gets angry that we don't feed it vegetables or fruit to get our attention, it will try to bite through the seams in the corners. She is so cheeky! We also cover the floor with a layer of newspaper and a towel to keep the floor from getting wet. Wiping it off would be easy enough, but guinea pig urine is acidic and very smelly! So we don't need stains on it. I do not recommend washing in the washing machine. I can imagine that the net will tear at the sides. Spot cleaning works perfectly. Good price for this product! Recommend it, but line it with paper before putting your kids in (not for human kids!).
