Review on Banjo Brothers Market Pannier: Your Perfect Solution for Convenient Shopping and Commuting by James Pope

I've never ridden panniers but find it very easy once the load is balanced

Update: after 2 years these workhorses are still working. I do all my grocery shopping with them and people are often shocked to learn how much I can get for a trip. The cashiers don't even know I'm riding my bike until they catch the porter or my helmet. I've loaded over 20 pounds into a bag several times a week and am amazed they've held up. As always, pack your things well and get home safe and sound. Excellent rain and splash resistance. Original: I bought two of these, one for each side of my C-pillar, with a plan to bike shop 2-3 times a week instead of walking. I've never ridden panniers, but I find it very easy when the load is balanced. It's best to take them and pack them yourself, placing heavy objects on the bottom and large flat objects on the back. The size is perfect, very similar to a regular paper or reusable grocery bag, just a little heavier. Long term durability can be seen but they appear to be well built and very easy to use. The only tricky part might be loading the bag with a side stand or other support on each side, as the bike tends to lean quickly. I also check to make sure they are fully back on the bar so my heel doesn't touch them when I'm pedaling. Overall very happy with my purchase.
