Instead of contacting Dish Network and going through a bunch of crap to get a new remote, I just moved on.

I didn't order this for myself but for my mother in law, they have the dish network and their remote control was well above the death point in the near dead category so the dish didn't to contact network and go through a bunch of crap to get a new remote control, i just went to amazon and ordered this. It arrived very quickly, was easy to set up and works so well I'm not ready to just scream in front of the TV anymore. I am very happy with my purchase
