Bought these pants for my son (4ft 7in) to wear under his Halloween costume. I ordered a large, when this item arrived I was surprised to see that these pants were huge and by huge I don't mean the waist. but length. I'm 5ft 9" and could wear these pants and still have the material under the heel. I'm not sure what you mean by "big boy" but if you are looking for very long pants for boys then these pants are for you. I would rate this product 5 stars if the length wasn't sharp.
