Ideal for the controller. The angle you can adjust the phone is adjustable with 2 wheels that help you fix the position. I've read reviews of some other clips that unintentionally pressed the PS button. I'm happy to say I didn't experience that with this clip. Select and Start are flush with the clip but are easy to press in my opinion. And the mini USB port on the controller is open, so you can connect the controller to your phone during using if needed. This clip is unlikely to hold your phone if it has a heavy/thick body. I had to buy another case for my S5 to make the clip easier to use. The slots you put your phone in are about 0.5 inches deep, so keep that in mind. Also, someone noticed that the clamp doesn't stretch the full 6 inches. That's right. More like 4 inches. This clip is mainly for phones and "phablets" but not for full size tablets. Be careful. 5 Stars. Hope this helps anyone looking for a good controller clip for PS3 controller.
