I like that I can hang my car key on a separate ring when I don't need it, but I need other keys. It has helped me reduce the number of keys I carry around as I can use a second key for office keys and keys I don't use often. I've never liked the feel of bulky keys in my pocket and it really helps. My previous car still had a push-turn key and it was nice to be able to keep the machine running when I had to get out to open the mailbox separately with the car key on one side.
