Review on Babo Botanicals Mineral Sunscreen Unscented by Katrina Dorsey

Skin prone to eczema is allowed! 👍

Yes, we mainly use shading and protective clothing. My daughter's eczema can range from mild, where the skin looks dry and scaly, to severe, where the skin can be very irritated and red. Our dermatologist advises against using sunscreen, but there are times when using sunscreen is better than nothing. Since her skin is more vulnerable to the sun's damaging effects, finding a sunscreen that works for her has been a challenge. The AT community recommended Babo Botanicals to me. I tested it for possible allergic reactions such as rashes, any form of rash, itching, etc. before using it. So far so good! 🙏 ADVANTAGES: Ideal sun protection factor 50 and fragrance-free. This is a non-irritating, hypoallergenic sunscreen with mineral ingredients. Does not dry out the skin, easy to apply. I would even say it moisturizes and soothes! I usually use it over Mustela Stelatopia balm. CONS: I wish the texture was lighter and not so greasy, you have to wash it off your skin a lot with soap. Advertised as transparent but still leaves a white sticky layer on the skin and doesn't feel weightless. It also stained our stroller, washing with soap didn't remove the stains. Another disadvantage is that it is not an alcohol-free remedy. CONCLUSION: This is a good sunscreen and does what it is supposed to do. It protects your baby from the sun's harmful UV rays. It can be used on baby's sensitive skin and skin prone to eczema (in our case). This zinc sunscreen for kids is fragrance-free and free from irritating chemicals. Despite the shortcomings, I am very happy that we succeeded! And I definitely recommend trying it, but be sure to test it before using it. I hope my review was helpful.
