Makes you look like a ghost

It doesn't rub in well at all. I had about 7-8 friends try it on our beach vacation and once applied it was very white and didn't help much with sun protection either. Unfortunately, cheaper chemical filled products work way better which makes me sad because I'm really looking for a pure sunscreen that doesn't make you look like a ghost!

Ideal for mixed children!

I love this sunshade. It's more expensive, but my mixed baby doesn't look like I'm trying to bleach it, which was my main reason for looking for a new sunscreen. There are many different ones and she uses them every day in kindergarten. She also has fairly sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate her at all. I give an extra fee for something so good.

We love it! for kits and sets

I have used this on my 3 year old for 2 consecutive weekends. It's very easy to massage in, lightweight and doesn't feel thick and sticky! It's been in the water and on land, sand, and it holds up very well in direct sunlight for hours.

100% sure! - Skincare

Just wanted to stop by and say this is one of the few sunscreens for kids that is 100% safe. There's an app called "Think Dirty" that ranks foods according to their level of toxicity based on their ingredients, with 0 meaning no toxic ingredients and 10 meaning very toxic. This sunscreen gets a 0! If it's as important to you as it is to me, then I'm happy to review this product to help you find a safe product for your child. However, remember that no baby under 6 months should wear sunscreen…

Not suitable for sensitive or allergy prone skin

Okay lol. So I figured this product would be for sensitive skin, hypoallergenic, contains natural mild ingredients etc as it is advertised for KIDS. That was the most annoying sunscreen I've ever used. It contains many difficult-to-pronounce substances that I am also skeptical about. More importantly, most people with sensitive skin have allergy-related issues. Well, there are nut products in this product. Do not use this if you have psoriasis or eczema. I have eczema and it made me so tingly…

Would you like this sunscreen

A few years ago I developed an allergy to simple sunscreens, so I was looking for something that wouldn't itch me for days after using it. I tried Waxhead but it was so thick, difficult to apply and made me whiter than usual that I risked burning myself for not wanting to wear it. I decided to try something new and bought Babo Botanicals. The best solution. It's thick too, and if you haven't used it recently it needs a little shaking/squeezing to mix everything together, but it rubs in…

Skin prone to eczema is allowed! 👍

Yes, we mainly use shading and protective clothing. My daughter's eczema can range from mild, where the skin looks dry and scaly, to severe, where the skin can be very irritated and red. Our dermatologist advises against using sunscreen, but there are times when using sunscreen is better than nothing. Since her skin is more vulnerable to the sun's damaging effects, finding a sunscreen that works for her has been a challenge. The AT community recommended Babo Botanicals to me. I tested it for…

Easy to apply, matt and completely transparent! family approved!

I rarely write reviews but this is a sunscreen that I really like. We usually buy Badger for the family safe ingredients, but you get a very white tint for regular Zinc and it's very thick to apply (and I find the Clear Zinc Badger very oily). Enter this sunscreen. It comes thinner out of the tube and is easy to spread. When rubbed well, each shade of white is almost completely invisible (you just need to rub your eyebrows extra). I love that it has 50 SPF so I don't have to put it on my kids…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Almost everything available

Perfect for the little ones! Doesn't burn your eyes!

USE: I use this product for my children who have very fair skin. I only apply it from the neck down because my favorite way to use the Babo Botanicals Baby Face Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 is on my face just because they think sticking it on your face is fun. ADVANTAGES: There are several factors to consider when buying a sunscreen for babies: active ingredients, water resistance, oiliness, transparency and ease of spread. I love that the Zinc Oxide is 100% active, it floats on water and…
