I bought these blankets for my little guinea pigs, I have 4 males in 3 habitats. I wanted to use them to replace soft bedding etc. But that won't happen. The pads absorb well and the difficult-to-clean substance (sweeping shit) "grabs” the bristles when sweeping. I changed them after a day and a half because my piglets got wet from the urine, the room smelled very strongly of animals. My only pig, his long hair down his back was heavily caked with urine. I had to change everything, bathe my little boys and watch their tummies to make sure they didn't have boobs. I will be using pads for her as a playpen pad but I'll stick with my paper, a softer pad for her.
