Review on PENTAX Limited Lens - HD PENTAX-DA21mmF3.2AL Limited Silver K Mount APS-C Size - Thin Wide-Angle Single Focus Lens (21420) by Anand John ᠌

Was purchased for work. Everything is ok there. I decided to try to shoot landscapes with them, like nothing. Not to say that it is less sharp than those that I usually use for landscapes (Samyang 10mm, Pentax 35mm). Then I took it for a night shoot and it's just a delight. The sharpness is somehow prohibitive even at f / 3.5, and if you clamp it down to 7, even your eyes can start to cut. Specifically, night shooting in the city - any luminous object already at f / 3.5 is overgrown with a 14-beam star and it is just wildly beautiful. The lens weight (and size) is a godsend. Usually in a backpack a heavy set of lenses. All this weighs very decently (considering the teleconverter, a couple of filters, several memory cards and batteries). This lens is very light, along with 35 it can be thrown into a bag with any of the heaviest kits, the weight will hardly increase. But unlike 35, this is not plastic, but metal and everything is soundly done. Another problem (but I think specifically of my copy) is that it is very tight to fit into the bayonet socket. At the very end and when you try to shoot, the lens will go into the grooves with effort. Perhaps because of the size, all my other lenses are grippy and easier to rotate.
