Oddly enough, the PlayStation VR Module my neighbor gave me didn't have a fan! The fan was completely missing and there were no signs that the module had been disassembled. The PS VR rig just crashed due to overheating after playing for over 10 minutes. I've been looking for a replacement (3-pin PWM fan) and nothing arrives from China except for three weeks. Just one fan costs $18. So I chose this 2 pin fan. I soldered it and it works like a charm! It can be a bit noisy while running, but there weren't any issues with heat or fan noise when using the VR setting.
