Works great. I've tried this with several headphones and some Klipsch 2.1 speakers. The sound goes great as with any of my other audio outs. The microphone in the headphones also works. Even the play/pause button on the headphones works (it doesn't work on the other USB sound card I have). Plugs look and feel solid. The cable is a good gauge (thick enough) with a nylon sleeve - I think this helps against rubbing. The length of the cord was a bit unexpected. The whole measures 9 inches from end to end. This way you can even use it with the USB ports on the back of your desktop or mini PC and not use one of the front USB ports. I use mine plugged into a USB hub on the side of my mini PC and I appreciate not having to dig through all the other cables to connect my various headphones.
