I really like the design of these connectors better than some of the other ones I have used. The trouble with these is that when you go to screw them on to the main line they want to start cross threaded. This happened on 12 gauge and 14 gauge wire. 10 out of the 12 lights that I used these on had this problem. My fingertips are numb from pushing and turning to get these installed. The fact that the threads are plastic makes it easy to strip the threads if you’re not careful. They do make a nice tight connection though you should seal the ends to keep water and dirt out. I will probably use them on the rest of my lights when the need arises to replace the original connectors.
