Review on Tripp Lite Traveler3USB Portable Surge Protector Power Strip with 2 USB Ports & $25,000 Insurance - 18in Cord, Black by Vincent Burton

I travel often and have looked everywhere for a compact charger that meets all my needs, which I lack. I don't think that's unusual these days. I travel with a laptop, Blackberry Bold, iPad and occasionally a Garmin GPS. My requirements were an extra power outlet and at least two USB ports that can charge my iPad and Blackberry Bold at the same time. It's nice that the device isn't big and the extension cord is long enough (for sockets behind bedside tables in hotels!). It is also great that there are 3 sockets. This will charge the iPad, but unfortunately NOT two power-hungry devices via the USB ports. I have a dual USB wall charger from Philips (model DLM2241 but I can't find it on Amazon) that works really well and charges my Blackberry and iPad at the same time, but it's not that good behind bedside tables with standard USB cables and it has no outlet. I could connect a dual USB charger to the Tripp Lite Traveler but that defeats the whole purpose of being compact and hoping to have one less item in my electronics bag. The search continues.
