Great little power strip for on the go that doubles as a surge protector. Perfect for travel (that's why I bought it because I've been to some hotels that only have one or two outlets and the rest is usually used for other things like lights or clocks). It's nothing fancy, although it does have a surge protector feature, which is nice (not all power strips have this - almost all have surge protectors, but not all have outlet surge protectors).

This 3-way portable extension strip is oversized. Much more than other similar products (that don't have surge protection). I haven't used this strip internationally where the voltage is 240 so I can tell you if it will work there. During an overseas trip, I tried other extension cords with US outlets and they immediately blew up. This makes sense as they are not rated for 240V, only 120V. I installed this behind my TV which is on a flat mount. The straight jack plugs on the plug side didn't allow me to perfectly center my TV on the wall since my outlet is there and the TV mount needs to be positioned directly over the outlet.
