The finish on the wood parts of the base was impeccable and everything was well packaged for shipping. The black vinyl seat is beautifully finished and generously padded. The trim kit may have included additional parts. The fit is perfect and tight when fully assembled. Several reviews complained that the holes needed to be "re-drilled". This is not necessary unless you fully tighten all the screws until you have everything together. The cross pieces have dowels that fit into small holes in each leg and a screw holds the pieces together. (Intelligent design to prevent the crossbars from rotating.) It was easy to line up the dowel with the hole in each leg and then tighten the screws to attach the legs to the crossbars. Gradually tighten them until fully assembled.
