available I have had my Dyson 25 for about 4 years now and am happy with its performance. The hose clamp broke after the first 2 years of use and like other reviewers it used duct tape to hold the hose in place. The vacuum worked great with duct tape but was disappointed that it couldn't use attachments. Recently the tape failed and I decided to order a replacement tube from Revain which was surprisingly cheap. I received the replacement tube quickly but without instructions. With the help of U Tube I was able to easily change the tube. The hose works great HOWEVER the nozzles don't fit the end of the new piece. What the hell? Is this a quality control issue or did Dyson just not pay attention to designing the product to match the attachments? Does anyone else have this problem? Undecided whether to keep it to myself or risk finding another replacement with the same problem. Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars. UPDATE: My brother-in-law looked at the hose to make sure I attached it properly to the tool attachments. At first he also thought it was a design flaw. But then he kept working on it, twisting it slightly and applying more pressure than I was comfortable with. And it worked! There was no loud click or indication that it had engaged, but the knob that released it engaged and released quietly. No loud clicking like the original. I've tried several tool attachments and they all fit the same. It takes a little more pressure to secure the tools, but they can slide more smoothly with consistent use. I think perseverance is the key. So my apologies to Dyson and anyone I may have inadvertently caused a negative purchase of this hose. I think installation instructions would be helpful.
