The strap is adjustable and the glasses fit me very well. The lenses seem very durable and I suspect they will provide some eye protection if needed. Traditional sunglasses didn't fit me as I'm a fisherman. Lost too many sunglasses in the past, leaning over railings to catch fish or anchor. I'm not overly concerned about how I look, but very concerned about losing things overboard.
