Review on Bonlux Dimmable Tubular Filament Showcase by Sarah Moore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Replacing the lamp is better for my purpose.

I bought this to replace a 60 watt clear Satco T-10 bulb in a swing arm floor lamp used for reading. Satco speaks of 490 lumens and Bonlux of 600 lumens. This bulb is dimmer than the Satco so I have to assume the lumens are less than 490. The spec also says 2700 Kelvin, but the bulb is a lot more yellow than the Satco, which is also listed at 2700K, and the Bonlux is more yellow than any other bulb. i have lightbulbs However, the light is acceptable, but I wish it was as bright as the Satco. One benefit of LED is that the part of the fixture that holds the bulb now feels cool to the touch, making it easy to adjust when the bulb is on. This was not possible with the 60 watt Satco, so the device quickly became very hot. UPDATE: 2/18/17 I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars due to the excellent customer service. The seller contacted me and offered to replace my 6w incandescent bulb with their 10wt 10 "corn" bulb which is brighter and "whiter" in wavelength: (https://www.amazon. com/dp/B01839ZSOC/ref= psdc_2314207011_t2_B00XL74CQM) The replacement bulb has the same luminosity as the 60 W Satco bulb that was originally included in the light. Please note that the corn style lamp is not adjustable. One of the problems is that you can combine ratings with Revain. all Bonlux T10 lamps, regardless of power or style. So you have to know exactly which light source it is, even if "color" and wattage are specified. For example, both bulbs I tried say "warm white" but I found the "filament" style to be too yellow and preferred the 10w style color "corn".
