Bonlux Dimmable Tubular Filament Showcase Review

First of all I was happy with the color temperature of these bulbs. I've been struggling to find what looks like a lightbulb and they're almost there. They need to be dimmable, and they are. They don't black out well. They go almost completely off just past the midpoint on my dimmer. I understand there is a capacitor (?)? There is a noticeable delay before they turn on. With incandescent lamps on the same dimmers there is a small, that is, dramatic pause, and then ramp up to full brightness…

They replaced the incandescent bulbs in our chair reading lamps. Lights swing on the arm and bulbs are within a foot or two of what is being read. The bulbs got very hot and it was uncomfortable to sit next to them while reading. These LEDs have solved this problem by providing a comfortable light in an ideal (warm) color for reading. I bought this to replace a 60 watt clear Satco T-10 bulb in a swing arm floor lamp used for reading. Satco speaks of 490 lumens and Bonlux of 600 lumens. This bulb is dimmer than the Satco so I have to assume the lumens are less than 490. The spec also says 2700 Kelvin, but the bulb is a lot more yellow than the Satco, which is also listed at 2700K, and the Bonlux is more yellow than any other bulb. i have lightbulbs However, the light is acceptable, but I wish it was as bright as the Satco…
