Review on Bonlux Dimmable Tubular Filament Showcase by Sergio Wingate

First of all I was happy with the color temperature of these bulbs. I've been struggling to find what looks like a lightbulb and they're almost there. They need to be dimmable, and they are. They don't black out well. They go almost completely off just past the midpoint on my dimmer. I understand there is a capacitor (?)? There is a noticeable delay before they turn on. With incandescent lamps on the same dimmers there is a small, that is, dramatic pause, and then ramp up to full brightness. Actually a very cool effect. With those bulbs on the same dimmers, you press the switch and for a second or two nothing happens - you think something's broken - and then they turn on. I'm sure it's an interplay between the technology in the dimmer and the technology in the bulb, but that's a shame.
