Review on Bonlux Dimmable Tubular Filament Showcase by Kassandra Harris

They replaced the incandescent bulbs in our chair reading lamps. Lights swing on the arm and bulbs are within a foot or two of what is being read. The bulbs got very hot and it was uncomfortable to sit next to them while reading. These LEDs have solved this problem by providing a comfortable light in an ideal (warm) color for reading. The lights had a dimmer system that was part of the socket. This worked well with incandescent bulbs. The main use of the dimmer was to control the heat generated by incandescent bulbs. This old type of dimmer was not compatible with LED tubes and I replaced the original sockets/dimmers with regular sockets. So I can't say how LED tubes work with a dimmer. However, our use of LEDs does not require a dimmer as the light from them is very legible.
