Works BUT Instructions are lousy or missing

This NVR works, I have 4 Amcrest POE cameras and they are all connected to the NVR. NVR records 4 cameras. BUT. There are many undocumented features, functions and fields on the screens that are not described in the manual or online blogs. I find the lack of accurate documentation regarding the current version of the NVR software incredibly annoying. I'm not the type to call tech support for every question I have. I'd rather research the issue in a document than waste time waiting for a tech representative to help me. I hope that EVERY feature available in a menu or screen option is fully documented. This does not apply to Amcrest NVRs. The documentation is very simple. It will tell you what you need to do to get it working, but it doesn't explain all the buttons/options that are available on the screen. I suspect technical documentation is not a priority for Amcrest. The lack of documentation of the system, in my opinion, is a very interesting point that needs to be abbreviated to save money. It looks like this will only make the support team spend more time answering the phone and answering unnecessary questions that should be available to any hardware owner. I cannot recommend a system that does not have complete and accurate documentation for each software release. I can't imagine any of my non-technical relatives trying to use this device successfully.
