After a severe reaction to Taxol chemo my hands were eaten alive! I couldn't use them for weeks. The morning was so bad I couldn't even open the bedroom and bathroom door. Sleeping with these petroleum jelly lotion gloves helped a lot! My hands felt like they were on fire during the healing process. I put on gloves and immediately felt relief. I had open cuts at the time so I couldn't use lotion, but the gel in the gloves was enough to soothe and moisturize my hands. They were a godsend when even recipes did not help. I use them whenever my skin gets dry. I wish there were full socks in the foot set but they worked well too.
