Good thickness of the sole, not too thick to ride but not so thin that you feel every stone you step on. Worn on a day at work, comfortable. I ordered black/team red. The top looks completely black, if you don't look closely it doesn't match the photo. Also, the white sole already has black abrasions on the sides near the heel. Update 6/17/2021: On both shoes, the rubber sideband is beginning to separate from the upper, approximately 1/2 inch long, at the base of the big toe.
