Not a paid review.We have two young toddlers and I love to cook vegetarian dishes every night. The black cooktop shows everything. Wiping down the entire stove on a daily basis requires elbow grease and frankly I’m just too lazy. This stove cover will also protect your freshly cleaned cooktop from dust/debris when not in use. Assembly required patience and a regular Phillips head screwdriver. I didn’t use the provided screwdriver. The provided hardware doesn’t have a cheap feel and this is especially true regarding the machine screws. I didn’t strip a single screw. If you are nervous about stripping a screw then I would suggest finding the hole and turning the screw left a few turns until you’re sure it’s lined up. Then gently tighten. I wouldn’t use an electric screwdriver. The larger screws are firmly secured inside the pre-installed insert. This is ideal because you don’t have to worry about off center screwing. Pretty dummy proof if you take it nice and slow. Material quality passed the weight test by supporting my 26.7 pound Breville espresso machine. Will update my review if product fails.
