Perfectly synchronizes my Android phone with the car radio. I have a 2008 BMW 535xi with Bluetooth for calls only. I really wanted to be able to sync my phone with Waze/Android Auto/Google music and maps, and plugging this little adapter into the 1/8" aux-in on the center console does the job nicely. Battery life on first use was only a few hours, but that's not a problem as there's a USB port next to the aux port in my car, so I keep the adapter charging all the time while I'm driving. I open the console every time I use bluetooth to turn the device on and off, get in the car and turn it on to make sure I don't burn the poor thing (I doubt it will, just saving up like battery and electronics). . says to let you know when it is "on", "plugged in" and "off" which can be heard over the studio out into my car. The device itself has a volume and track forwards and backwards, but I don't use them. Great little adapter, small, powerful and does exactly what I need. Highly recommend buying one.
