Review on Monroe MA776 Max Air Adjust Absorber by Jeff Hill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Should have done that many years ago.

Purchased to fix sag on a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. Tried replacing the leaf springs 5 years ago but they only lasted a couple of years and sagged. By jacking up and lowering the rear end, it's flat for a day or two and then lower. Put these air dams in place as directed (note one wasn't perfectly aligned, then pulled out direction and noticed there is a left and right side) and it all came together perfectly and ran fine. The air lines release the spare tire and run over the spare tire bracket. Put 70 pounds of air in for a perfectly smooth ride. I took it for a test ride and was amazed at how much better and smoother it ran than I expected. It used to take off the springs on the big bumps and hit the rubber bumpers so it rode pretty hard, but now it has suspension and looks better. They must have had it from the factory because I haven't seen an Explorer Sport that doesn't sag, at least a little bit.
