This item will hold 13 credit cards and has two cash compartments when you fold the bills. There is no place to change. I think it's best if you carry it in a purse or a large bag that's too bulky for a pocket when you have all the slots full of credit cards. Some people carry a lot of cards, so this might work for them. It's faux leather, looks okay, but it's definitely not expensive. It's hard to say how long it will last. And note that if you use this item and pay with cash, you still need to carry a wallet with you. So, although more and more people nowadays only use credit cards, if you are one of those people, you don't need to worry about a change purse. I have this to keep my extra credit cards in one place and I keep it at home and don't carry it around as I use different cards for different circumstances, but I find it too big to carry in your wallet myself could carry around.
