The straps are made of coarse material. When walking in them, the straps rubbed my legs and blistered. Definitely the wrong tape material. You want soft belts, not rough ones! My other RIFs have a great padded strap that Merrell needs to keep an eye on. The rest of the slippers are great! Good foothold with arch support.
