We bought another chip reader model here at Revain that has very similar features, is about ten dollars cheaper, and has the button on the side, not the front , can be seen like this one. This other model didn't work at all - the numbers read never matched the chips, the USB function never worked and the battery died and wouldn't charge on the first day. This works great! We have verified that all numbers match what should be on our newest HomeAgain branded chips and our old random branded chips. Thank goodness, and it's still a lot cheaper than the hundreds of dollars the brand's official RFID readers cost. It scans past the pet very quickly and easily with a quick swipe. It saves the last few scans and when you plug it into your computer it will type them in for you - or you can plug it in and then scan and type as you go, which is super handy!
