An expertly tailored hobo-inspired patchwork leather bag with a drawstring closure accented with alternating smooth dark brown leather and suede pieces. The large bag measures 13.5 x 11.5 x 5 inches. The shoulder strap is 18 inches high, but some adjustment is possible as the strap has 5 holes that can be used for a buckle. The bag is fully lined and features a large zipped pocket on one side of a large open bucket and two open pockets and space for a pen or pen on the opposite side of the booth. The bag offers a surprising amount of space, which adds to its flexibility. It has a drawstring closure at the top and a magnetic closure at the center edge of the interior. Bags with a vertical shape tend to be more flattering than those with a horizontal shape, but of course that's subjective. The brand is known for its quality materials and construction, and this bag is a good example of both. It arrives carefully wrapped in tissue including parts of the wallet that may chafe against the skin such as metal loops for shoulder straps etc and the entire wrapped wallet is then sealed in a plastic bag. I removed the packaging, but the smell appeared a few hours after exposure to air. A drawstring fabric dust bag featuring the Frye logo is included for storage when the wallet is not in use.
