Bought a 4000k version with three quality covers to fit single sockets. Junction boxes for their 20+ year old stair lights with two sets of horizontal blades side by side which is a common configuration. The old incandescent bulbs in the stairwells didn't provide enough light and didn't last long, using a lot of energy and generating heat. At first I was frustrated at the thought that I might have to custom make bezels or maybe replace my outlets to use the new LED stair lights. I found a place where they can make new pads from different materials but the price was way over my budget. I ordered a few of these lamps just to see if this plate can be made or what options I might have. The covers for these lamps are interchangeable. They share the same drilling locations as the standard can and cover. The only difference is that the standard wall plates have larger screws to attach the edge cover to the fixture. It is sufficient to simply screw the threads into the holes of the LED lamps, so that commercially available socket cover screws can be used. In some cases, smaller screws that come with LED lights can be used instead. I used two of these LED stair lights in each twin box and then fitted the original slat covers that came with our house. To prevent light leakage, my wife wrapped a roll of fire retardant/caulking clay left over from previous renovation/soundproofing work around the edges of the covers prior to installation. used in blind configuration. Very good quality light that is much more useful and safer than the original lights. If they had a standard bezel cover thread I would rate them higher. Too early to know if they will last. They really do have a lot of value with all the metal faceplates that are included. The faceplates alone are easily worth the price paid - they are of better quality than the light unit itself. A nice touch is a pre-fitted ground pigtail, three nuts and new output screws. It's also nice to see the Conformité Européenne symbol on the packaging.
