Bright and clear, easy to attach to laptop

This monitor has a very interesting folding design: the bracket and the screen are hinged. You fold the hinge for portability, then attach the mount to the laptop screen for use. Then either open the hinge for a screen that pushes the laptop screen to the right, or leave it folded for presentations. The bracket itself expands. So you can squeeze it horizontally to attach it to your laptop monitor. It even has a small adjustable stand that can be deployed to counteract the extra weight of the monitor when the laptop screen is tilted outwards. The base has two USB-C ports and one HDMI port on the bottom of the mount. USB-C lets you connect your display to your Mac with a single cable. If you choose to use the HDMI connection, you'll need to power the screen via USB-C (two USB-C/USB-C cables, one HDMI/HDMI and one USB-A/USB-C are included, what should cover most laptop configurations). Finally, a cloth drawstring pouch is included. I love the image quality, the color accuracy and the mount attaches securely to my laptop display for easy use on the go; The problem, however, is that it's quite thick and the screen is exposed. So if you travel with it, it's too easy to damage it. I would have liked a more sophisticated hinge that allows you to fold the screen down so it can be closed with the screen inside and not left open - the mount is the perfect protection for that. For now, I took the foam padding out of the box and put it in a cloth bag to protect the screen.
