I've had this playground for exactly 1 week. My 8 month old climbed outside as intended as he held onto the top of the gate. It broke and my son fell. Thank god I was close enough to catch him. The tiny piece of plastic holding the gate had come loose. I did a lot of research on this and chose this one because it turned out to be the safest. I'll come back and look for others. **edited to add** The manufacturer of this gate has contacted me several times asking me to withdraw my negative review rather than be paid for a new gate. This is definitely not a company that cares about the safety of their target audience, young children!
