I've had this playground for exactly 1 week. My 8 month old climbed outside as intended as he held onto the top of the gate. It broke and my son fell. Thank god I was close enough to catch him. The tiny piece of plastic holding the gate had come loose. I did a lot of research on this and chose this one because it turned out to be the safest. I've been looking for a long time for one of these that didn't have gaps between the panels or slots for a child to put their foot in or climb up after reading other reviews of this product. That's it, there are slots but I don't think the slots are big enough to be used for climbing.
