Absolutely LOVE these. Yes! Floors are no longer scratched. I have tried all types of chair pads from felt to silicone and nothing has worked on my square leg chairs. That's great. I took both brown and black because I have 2 different wood colors. My chair's legs are square, about 2-3 inches wide, and they slide in easily. They are very elastic and adapt to the shape of the foot. They sit tight and don't slip. I've had light brown ones for a year now and not a single one has come off. Also, they don't attract pet hair like felt pads do. My chairs now glide quietly and smoothly over hardwood and tile floors. I even put her on a lounge chair with 4 inch wide square legs.
