Review on πͺ Ilyapa Spring Door Stops 10 Pack: Heavy Duty 3 ΒΌ Inch Traditional Spring Door Stop with Rubber Bumper, Satin Nickel by Ian Bates
The spring makes a strange noise.
I used these to replace my old solid doorstop but they made an odd pop/click when the door pivoted into the doorstop AND AGAIN when the door closed just like you did the door move away from the door. Door stopper. I suspect the spring broke when the door was pushed open. I tried another brand that looked identical in design but they didn't make any popping noises. I also added felt pads to the tip to cushion the landing. I will not buy this brand again, but I will not return it either. I'll give them to a contractor and maybe he can tweak them so they don't pop.
